The new Twin Skin Speedmax 70 is a high-quality, attractive, and lightweight leather ski with an Air Core Basalite Pro core. Two short, wide strips of mohair leather ensure perfect grip and exceptional glide, even in icy conditions. We recommend applying VAUHTI PURE SKIN CLEAN & CARE to clean the leather strips and enhance glide. To protect the base, a thin layer of wax is applied to the skis, which must be removed and brushed off before first use.

Care Instructions Fischer's high-end models are coated with a thin layer of wax after the initial polishing and before delivery to the sports shop. This hot wax preparation, in collaboration with VAUHTI, protects the base against dirt and rust and ensures optimal glide. Before using the skis for the first time, this protective wax layer should be removed with a sharp plexiglass blade in the direction of travel, applying light, even pressure, and then brushed with a nylon or combination brush. The base structure must be completely clean for optimal glide. Proper care of your twin-skin skis will ensure you get the most out of them. There are two specialized products that impress with their ease of use. Easy Skin Cleaner cleans skins of accumulated dirt, ensuring optimal glide and climbing ability. Its companion, Easy Anti Ice Skin HF, a liquid wax with fluoride, reduces ice buildup on skins when moving between wet and dry snow. Best of all, it contains no hydrocarbon-based oil solvents. This means the adhesive on the skins remains unaffected, guaranteeing long-lasting fun on the snow.
