Our Mimic Hood is insulated with recycled synthetic Mimic Gold, which emulates the extraordinary warming characteristics of down but also performs excellently even when wet. What you get is something perfect for outdoor activities, which will keep you as warm and comfortable as your favorite down vest, but is suitable for a much wider range of activities in variable weather conditions. Constructed with lightweight ripstop fabric. Strategically placed non-padded areas allow for greater ease of movement but are insulated with synthetic sheets, meaning there are no cold spots.
